The library includes iconic animated films such as Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, The Tale of The Princess Kaguya, The Wind Rises, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo, and Castle in the Sky. The acquisition covers theatrical, home video, TV, and digital rights, with Goodfellas retaining streaming rights for the territory, where the films have been licensed to Netflix.
The first theatrical release under this new agreement is the highly anticipated IMAX release of Kiki's Delivery Service, set to hit UK and Ireland cinemas on August 21.
